Oh, this is excellent. The same mix of funny and angsty and stylish and dense that the show is, but with the volume turned way up. Very well made, and extremely enjoyable. Thanks so much for making it and sharing it.

That was v. nicely done. Liked the mix of humor with the more serious moments, and the way things were cut together, making certain events stand out as they should.

okay, first of all: HOLY CRAP SUCH AMAZING MUSIC CHOICE. like, if i do start watching this show, i will be FOREVER CRANKY that the theme song is not THIS.

secondly: you do SUCH a good job of mixing moods, being creepy and scary and sad and exciting and funny and dawwwwww all at once without any jagged bits.

I LOVE the shadows at the beginning. one thing that's tricky for me is figuring out hwo to start a vid without just jumping right in, and this is so perfect.

you mix up the fast jerky motion bits and the slow thoughtful bits so well. it feels perfectly balanced.

I just. I LOVE THIS VID. SO MUCH. it's so fabulous and I don't even know anything AT ALL about what's going on, but it coheres perfectly and it's BEAUTIFUL and it makes me want to chairdance. WOOT WOOT WOOT.

You know, I had loved this song forever and had it mentally filed under 'Jason/Bruce', and then one day I looked up the lyrics and my mind exploded because it was clearly ABOUT brother/brother incest! uh. to me, anyway. *g*

Beginnings are always tough, and this one was really hard for me to get right, so I am *thrilled* that it worked for you.

oh man, yeah, i had never actually HEARD it until now, but i knew the lyrics from te's stories, and i must confess i am tragically closed-minded when it comes to mental soundtracks, and this is WAY too boppy for me to think of it as bruce/jason no matter how perfect the lyrics. but these kids, YES. YES THEY NEED THEM SOME BOP.

But even though I am so crazylate, I had to leave a comment because WOW. This vid was awesome. (Okay, I had to reopen the file and watch it again to comment on all the places that I loved.)

The entire opening sequence was just great. It fit the music and it was shiny and cool, and it's possible I need to learn actual technical names for why I like things, but oh well.

The sepia tone for the scenes from Asylum really worked, as did the parts where it switched back to regular color. And that one fade that ends with Sam turning and walking away from the Impala? Man, love.

The bit of this that stayed in my head was the sequence of blood splatter-Dean shrugging on the coat-Dean dead-Sam's little worriedface. Like, I've never had a visual of anything repeat in my head. Music, yes. But those images put together like that just stuck with me. Possibly this was reinforced by the fact that this is the part of the lyrics that has the title, but it got a really strong reaction from me.

And the fade from the picture of wee!Winchesters into Dean handing crazySam the gun was gut-wrenching. Oh, boys.

The ending was perfect. That last look, Dean so worried, but going on anyway . . . *sigh*

Sorry if this is only semi-coherent -- never really given much feedback on vids before (okay, I've only seen like 10, so I'm pretty unsure of what to feedback on), but I figured you deserved to know how much you utterly rock. Just on the off chance that you didn't already know. ^_^

Dude, do *not* worry about being late or semi-coherent (which you aren't)--I LOVE feedback this long and detailed! It is such a treat to see that people are still downloading and loving your vid even way after you posted it. *beams at you*

I am so, so happy to see what parts worked for you, because those are the bits that I really poured my heart into and tried to make work well, so it's great to see that paid off. I am so, so happy you liked it!

I loved this, what i saw of it! For some reason the file won't play all the way for me - it cut out at some point, and I don't know how far in because the timeline thing wasn't working either. But *anyway*, great job, loved your use of timing :)

Thanks! It's great, like a little movie. I especially love the opening sequence up to when the vocals start (thrills and anticipation with each beat) and the book-end opening and closing shots of Sam's eyes opening and Dean's sad I-love-you turn away *heartbreaks a little*
