Bandslash recs! Some things that I've enjoyed a lot recently:

deconcentrate. PG-13, Pete/Patrick. A great character piece, and a nice look at why these two might remain good friends instead of anything more. Some of the dialogue felt slightly off, but overall I really love this Patrick.
More Accidental Aspirations bygigantic. Travis/Beckett, NC-17. CJ found out that The Academy Is... was in Mexico at the same time that Gym Class Heroes' whole Matt-in-jail incident happened, and took advantage of that little fact to write some really fantastic porn. I absolutely love the relationship we see here, the way she shows rather than tells us about the intimacy and feeling between these guys.
A Stitch Away From Making It (A Scar Away From Falling Apart) byfemmequixotic. Pete/Patrick, NC-17. I started reading this and couldn't look away until I was finished, which nearly caused me to be late for a thing--Livia had to practically drag me away from the computer. It's got all the angst and turbulence before the hook-up that I absolutely love in fic, and I'm in love with the central plot idea that the fic turns on. Sometimes the Patrick characterization was too uptight for me, but for the most part--love.
Untitled Ficlet byqueenofhell. Pete and Patrick gen. Such a perfect outline of their friendship, of what Patrick does for Pete and vice versa. This just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside with love for this band, for how these guys feel about their band.
Nightwatch, Understanding: Lack Of, To Have An, and Eyes Closed To Fingers Corssed byjamjar. Patrick/Pete/Travis, NC-17. Full disclosure: I betaed all of these and am in no way objective. This is a series looking at these three guys from various angles--the first is Pete's PoV, the second is Travis's, the third is Patrick. Her voices are pitch-perfect the whole way, and she makes the threesome feel absolutely natural and the only possible conclusion. These stories are hilarious, sweet, and porny; jamjar was one of my favorite writers in comics fandom, and her stuff makes me even more ecstatic in this fandom.
And a fanart rec: Another Saturday Night bytrolleys, Patrick and Pete with Hemmingway. *Man* this is gorgeous. The not-quite-anime style fits unexpectedly well with these guys, and it doesn't feel at all still--every time I look at it I expect to see Patrick pulling Pete the rest of the way down, his elbow knocking that can of Red Bull off. This is detailed and rich and chicken soup for the 'shipper's soul, basically; I can't look at it without getting a really goofy smile on my face and wanting to read schmoopy Pete/Patrick fic.

And a non-bandslash vid rec: Pon De Replay byastolat. Entourage, Vince/Eric, music by Rhianna and DJ Elephant Man. This is a wonderfully sexy, danceable vid even if you've never seen an episode of the show (I've seen enough to know who Vince and Eric are, basically). It moves and it grooves and I have watched it many, many times now. So much fun!
