...I hadn't linked to this yet because I keep waiting to have something else to post about so that I can slip the link in with a bunch of other things, but uh, that isn't happening. All I have to post about is how annoyed I am getting by so much of the liberal hipster politics in this city, but then I took a step back and realized that it's just this one guy in my political science class who makes me want to beat him to death with his own messenger bag, so um. Yeah. Anyway! Bandom Anonymous Love Meme. Go play.

Seriously, I just, I'm getting so sick of everyone here just spouting off the views they hear without thinking and acting like they're persecuted and original for bashing Bush and comparing him to Hitler. SIGH. Remind me that I don't actually want to go back to living in a Republican Mormon stronghold?

I had one of those fellows in my Cyberculture class. Because I'm Canadian, he couldn't use the "lol bush" stuff on us, but he did once blurt out to the class that Al Qaeda was in fact the only opposing force to democracy in the world, and that they aren't really evil, just misunderstood and misportrayed by our evil media. The Professor promptly shut down all discussion before the class could kill him and reinforce his me-against-the-world one man martyr session.

um I friended you a few days ago because your brain and fic are shiney but I never comment so don't expect to see me around much. that's all.

Hiya. So kinda random comment here. I was linked to your 'this is my pimp hat. it's hot pink' post a few weeks ago as i was being pimped into bandom, enjoyed it a lot, and bookmarked the link for future perusual/commenting, but as i click back on it toay, it's now forbidden. Just wondering if there's any chance you'd consider friending me in. Now big if the answer's no; i understand you don't know me and stuff. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask. THank you!

*cringe* Oh man, I'm sorry about that. I locked most of my journal during Strikethrough 07 and it's just pure laziness that has kept me from going back and unlocking it all. But I went back and unlocked that post (http://ficbyzee.livejournal.com/235629.html) for you, and man, I really ought to get around to unlocking my recs posts at the very lest. *facepalm*

Unfortunately, my friendslist is getting really out-of-hand these days so I don't friend everyone back if I don't know them. Which makes me feel like an asshole, but only so much time in the world, you know? The only stuff I actually post under lock these days is rl-related, anyway.

Oh, totally. No worries and don't feel like an asshole on my account. I have the same time-crunch problems and feel like a jerk myself that i have to filter a relatively small reading list compared to my posting list, which is also filter-flocked btwn RL and fandom stuff.
